A piece of embroidery made with Richelieu technique. Good for decorating the corners of spreads and cushions. Turned the pattern in right angle, with its repetitions we get a continued purfle.

With a copy pencil we copy the printed pattern onto a tracing-paper or transparent tailors paper, then we place that on the fabric pencil-side down, and print it on with an iron on the temperature good to the cotton-cloth for 8-10 seconds. ((First make a test in order to prevent burning the fabric.)
